| June 2009 The 13WMAZ TV commercials will begin on July 6th, announcing the grand opening of the Byron store. Chris Krok mentioned the store during his morning talk show. He was praising Gottwals Books as a local business that's expanding. We are busy getting the Byron store ready. Our goal is to open the doors by July 11. We are currently scheduling events such as book signings, readings, etc. It should be an exciting summer for book lovers all over! May 2009 FOX 24 featured Gottwals Books in their "FOX in Focus" special that aired Friday night, May 15th. It's just one more sign of how much Gottwals Books is impacting the mid-GA area. To God be the glory! April 2009 We now carry Melissa and Doug educational toys! (Be prepared for a huge assortment in the Byron location!) March 2009 The Anniversary Sale was a great success. January 2009 As of 2009, the trade-in policy has changed. The good news is that it has only gotten better for our customers! The new system allows for greater flexibility when giving store credit. We just signed the lease for the new location in the Peach Shops in Byron, GA! Please keep us in prayer as we step forward with this new store. We will spend the next few months building, sorting, and arranging. We hope to be open by this summer. 13WMAZ does a full story on the store, highlighting the fact that there are some bright spots during this economic downturn.
